Name-calling, really? Anyways, I have already stated the reason a couple comments above as I'm one of the former Menyoo staff members and have contact with him and the other staff.
In summary, he does not have the time or energy to currently maintain the menu as he is completely occupied with university, precisely his law studies. He currently does not have any intentions to fully abandon Menyoo. If he does, he has explicitly stated that the source will not go public.

The content in the report you linked is true. However, Take-Two's orders are not in regard to the single player version of Menyoo, only the paid online version was affected, which is now defunct.
@Bletz Make sure you have the PedList.xml file in your menyooStuff folder.

You currently can not reassign any of the navigation keys, nor can you add your own keybindings to the configuration file.

The single player version of Menyoo is not shut down nor entwined in any "legal issues". There are no authoritative orders regarding the single player version, as I stated a few comments above.
Hello all, former Menyoo staff here just dropping by to provide some insight on the current status and future of Menyoo.
Maf has stated that he is, and has been, engrossed in his university studies lately and currently does not have the required time or focus needed to maintain Menyoo at the moment, unfortunately. He has not yet decided to cease any developments of the menu, so any rumors stating otherwise are false for the time being. He currently has no plans to release the source code for Menyoo, or its spooner.
Also, the 2017 Take-Two injunction pertaining to Menyoo's online version has no orders, or regards, pertaining to the single player version of Menyoo uploaded here. Rumors suggesting that Take-Two, or any of its subsidiaries, are preventing Maf from maintaining this single player version of Menyoo are false.
There is no estimated time as to when, or if, Menyoo will be updated in the foreseeable future.
